Celebrate The Magic Of You
This is a magic program that uses much interaction with the audience, making sure the seniors are involved in the program (even those confined to a wheel chair will get to be part of it all, as I will enter the audience during the show. Bright colored props that are easy to see and appreciate are used while a sound system is put in place to make sure everything is heard. As I perform the magic tricks I talk about good family values, and play enjoyable classic songs. This is my most popular senior program.
Coco the Clown and A Clown Is Born
A Clown is Born is a unique program that features Kathleen Jeffers as she comes to your facility and changes into a clown right before her audience's eyes. She will show the audience exactly what it takes to become a professional clown. Kathleen explains the history of clowning and the many types of clowns, and she will show the seniors how to make balloon animals. This program is quite enjoyable, and people get to learn something new.
CoCo the Clown is similar, but Kathleen comes to the event already dressed as Coco the Clown; she will do face painting, use colorful props, and still teach how to make balloon animals.
Puppets On Parade
This program works well if you are having a school or day care class visiting the center. The puppets are loved by children and adults alike. Seniors love watching the children's reaction to the puppets, and you'll find that these wacky puppets are able to gain and hold the children's attention easily. As in all of our programs, audience participation is a key element. We even have a magician puppet that uses a member from the audience as a helper for one of his tricks. It's an event that will be remembered for a long time to come.
